It's been so long, I know!

So, it's been a couple months, but I'll try to not make this forever long! Things are great with the house. We got all of the ugly safari themed wall paper off in the living room and we finished the baby's room(it only took 2 months!). We also got a great deal on a washer and dryer from craig's list. It's awesome owning our own home. Even better that we're paying less than we were in rent!

Spencer and I have both started school. Spencer is going full time and is almost finished with his associates in business. He's also taking a class that he would need for dental school. He's seriously considering it and starting down that path just in case. Being a dentist would be a way he can be what he wants, which is to be a small business owner.

I am going to school part time taking 3 classes. I am taking 2 music theory classes(one online) and I've started orchestra again! The craziest part of going back to school is playing viola again. It's been 7 years and I am so not near the level most of the other musicians are at. But, it's a community orchestra and they're really laid back. It's not competetive at all. We have people who've been playing for 30 years and people who are just learning. It's great to be playing again!

Jaidyn has done SO much since the last post! She went from sitting to army crawling to crawling to walking so fast!!! She started walking the week before she turned 10 months. She didn't do the slow take 2 steps and fall thing over and over again. She decided she was ready to walk and was suddenly walking across the room! Within 2 weeks she was completely done crawling and could stand up in the middle of the room all by herself! She's so smart too! She's saying more and more words! She can say boo, dude, buh-bye, hi, papa(grandpa), dada, baby and Jaidyn! She's so smart and growing so quickly! She is such a little socialite to! She walks around the institute building before I go to class saying hi to everyone and being just plain adorable! We love her so much! She's so great!

Good News!

We got the bank to pay for the new water heater and electricity fix! Of course we threatened to pull out if they didn't! =) We're really hoping to close in 7 days, and we can as long as we get the last few things taken care of! Yeah! Soon we'll be homeowners! Happy Day!

The House...

So, an update on our house: there is something up with the wiring, so we need to get an electrician out to check it out and fix it. We're trying to get the bank to help pay for it since we've already paid for termite treatment and fixed other smaller things and it's not even technically our house yet! Also, it looks like we probably need a new water heater! If we do, G said he'd help us put it in. The only problem with that is, we might HAVE to have a licensed contractor put it in because of our FHA loan. I have no idea how much that will cost. But we're going to put even more money into this because we've already put so much into it and we need to get out of this apartment. We're definately in too deep to back out now! We are excited about getting a house though!!! It'll be so much better than renting, especially renting for a ridiculous price!

We're still trying to close by the end of the month. We've pretty much done everything we can to close when we want, now it depends on these last few things getting done fast enough! So wish us luck and pray for us that everything will work out! =)

LOME

L O M E = Love Of My Eternity. It's something Spencer came up with when we were engaged/dating. It came from the phrase 'love of my life'. But we weren't just the love of eachother's lives, we are the love of eachother's eternity! That is where LOME came from. Spencer even had it enscribed on the inside of my ring! Very Sweet! So that is LOME, hence lomebury!

The Sicklies...

So, this is the week of being sick! I woke up feeling sick Sunday morning and ended up taking 3 naps with Jaidyn that day! Then Spencer got a sore throat Monday and Jaidyn started getting a runny nose.Yesterday and today she has been back and forth with a fever. At 5 this morning her temp was 102.6! But the tylenol broke it, thankfully. Needless to say, it's been a "fun" week of Spencer and Me needing more sleep, but actually getting less due to the baby being sick. Turns out, it's harder being sick with a baby, whether she's sick or not. Every now and again, I am reminded that being a mommy can be really tough! But totally worth it!

Hello!!!

Hello everyone!!!

So this is the first blog, but there's not much to say! I guess i'll just give a quick overview of what's been happening lately!

~Spencer~

The same great hard-working Daddy! He has a busy schedule going back and forth between work and school all day. When he doesn't have to go back to work after his night class, he can get home by about 9pm. Unfortunately, he usually does have to go back to work. So, most of the time he doesn't get home til closer to 10, sometimes later. Sounds worse than it is though. We're all used to it. But at the same time looking forward to summer break!

Besides taking care of Jaidyn all day, I've been putting all of our pics on the computer, organizing them and posting them on facebook and stuff. It's taking longer than i thought it would, but i guess that makes sense since we didn't have any on the computer to begin with! =) Other than that, Spencer and i have been looking for a house the last few weeks. Hopefully we can find one soon so we don't have to stay in this apartment longer than we have to!

Just as cute as ever. She has rolled over a few times, but hasn't quite figured out to do it more often. But, she manages to scoot herself around on her back away from her toys turn 180 degrees from how i layed her down. It's so funny put her down one direction and come back to find her turned the opposite way and about a foot over! She also went swimming for the first time last week! I think she's still deciding how much she likes it! she definately didn't like being dunked! Anyway, here are some recent pics!
