Finally!

I know it's been since April, but it's hard to keep up with this when I've been without a computer at home! I don't know exactly what's wrong with our computer, I just know we don't have the money to get it checked out and fixed or to get a new one! So let's review...

School's out for the summer! I love having Spencer come home everyday after work! Spencer got a promotion and a raise! He's working hard and doing great!

Jaidyn is getting bigger and bigger and growing up way too fast! We finally took her Easter pics in May! I'll put them on here soon. Nursery is a work in progress...although it's definitely more work than progress. I get about 10 minutes in Sunday School before one of the nursery leaders comes to get me. I haven't been to Relief Society in weeks! I'm not sure what to do about her!

I'm doing good. With 10 1\2 weeks to go, I'm getting more tired everyday. I toss and turn all night and get 2-3 hours of semi-decent sleep before Jaidyn wakes up. Won't be much different when the baby comes I suppose! =)

Baby Bury moves around alot! Especially in the middle of the night! Had a doctor's appt. yesterday and everything's good and he said she feels like she's head down. The due date is August 27th...I expect her to come the first week of September! =) I'm just hoping she comes on her own. I want to experience going into labor on my own, instead of forcing it to happen like we had to with Jaidyn!

Things always come in threes...

So I hear...seems to be true! My poor baby! I really just want her to be healthy and happy! She's having the hardest time!

First, the ER visit.

Then, getting sick 2 days later.

NOW...we went to Urgent Care last night because there was blood in her diaper and it obviously hurt her to pee. The Dr. first thought UTI. Turns out, no. When the nurse was putting the catheter in to get a urine sample, we saw more blood in there. So the doctor came in to check and we saw that Jaidyn had scratched herself in there and that was causing the blood and inflammation. The acid in urine burns and open scratch like that, hence the pain. It was not infected, so that was good. Unfortunately, there is NOTHING we can do for it! Dr. just said to let her sit in the bath without soap and let her air dry.

Jaidyn woke up in pain around 11:30 pm. We gave her a bath (no soap) and let her be naked for a while. It was awful! She was so miserable and in pain! After a while, we got her dressed and got her to lay down with me on the couch watching a movie and Spencer went to bed. I finally got Jaidyn to go to bed around 1:30 this morning and thankfully she did not wake up in pain again. So far, she's doing good this morning. But my poor baby is scheduled to get shots at 11:15 this morning! Too many dr visits in too short of time! I'm thinking a blessing might be good, just to help her feel well amidst everything going on.

Oh What a week...

Jaidyn threw up while coughin last night and then again this afternoon about 1pm. So I took her to the Dr. He said she looks fine and her cough she's had is just a cold going around and we need to put a humidifier in her room and Vick's Vapor Rub on her. Turns out the insurance stuff hasn't made it all through the system yet, so I had to pay for it myself. Thankfully, they only charged me $45 instead of $65.

We weren't even a mile from the Dr when she threw up all over herself in the car! I promptly turned around and called them to say I was coming back. Got there, undressed Jaidyn and cleaned up the curdled milk covered car seat the best I could. Then saw the doctor again who said it's probably just a coincidence she's throwing up 2 days after falling cuz there's a bug going around. He did say if she kept throwing up to take her to the emergency room to get a scan just in case.

Now, everything is clean and Jaidyn has not thrown up again! Yeah! She is feeling warm and is being cuddly and acting sick, so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Monday night, which is really good. Now I'm praying that tomorrow is plain and uneventful with Jaidyn. Hopefully I can actually study and do semi decent on this test I have yet to make up!

I'm so tired. If I relax too much I think I might cry. I'm not sure I'm ready for that...

Quick Update

Yeah! DES was for once not retarded yesterday! Instead of taking all my info and saying, "you're case worker has up to 20 days to review your status and info, then you'll here from us!", the lady at the counter got my info, typed on her computer for a couple minutes, then said, "You're good". I said, "So she has insurance?"
"Yep"
Sigh of relief, "Is her visit to the ER last night covered?"
"Yes."
Bigger sigh of relief, "Wonderful! Thank you!"

I'm so glad it worked out and I didn't get the run around! It was a pretty stressful 24 hours! It felt like I'd already been through a week's worth of stress and it was only Tuesday! I'm ready for the weekend!

The ER!

Here's what happened last night after Jaidyn fell, got her crazy goose egg and threw up! By the time we got to the ER, Jaidyn was acting fine. Smiling, saying hi to everyone...her usually happy self. It only took about 10 minutes to be seen by the RN to get the basic info, so we thought maybe it wouldn't take forever...we were wrong!

It was 3 hours before we got out of there! Jaidyn got grumpy after a while cuz it was super late and she was hungry, but they told us not to give her anything. She eventually lost the sleep fight (which we were given the ok to let her sleep) and it was quiet for the next 1 1/2 hours. Right before they called us back, she woke up and she was NOT happy! She was upset and crying. Then we took her back, and the screaming began! She screamed through the whole thing!!!

The Doctor said that throwing up right after a fall is ok, because she's throwing up from the shock. The time to be worried and bring her in is if she throws up a while after the fall. That's a sign that blood is getting in the brain, which causes you to throw up. They didn't take an X-ray because she fell on her forehead (which is apparently the best place to fall if you're hitting your head) and he's never seen a fracture there from a fall as short as the one Jaidyn had. He said the minimal risk of radiation right by the eyes wasn't worth it. They gave us a dose of IB Profin to give her and told us to wake her up at 3 and 6 just to make sure she's ok. We also have to go to her doctor today to make sure she's still all good. It took another 10-15 minutes to get the discharge papers so we could leave. That's a long time at 1:00 am with a screaming baby! Spencer had to walk around with her and she refused to come back in the room with me!

After we left, we had to drive back to Ang's to pick up Spencer's car so he could go to work in a few hours! We got home around 2am and got to bed shortly after (Jaidyn fell asleep in the car). Spencer got up at 4 to check on Jaidyn (she was fine) and she woke up at 5:45 cuz she wanted milk, so she was fine then too! We slept till 10, but Spencer still had to get up at 5:30 for work! He's gonna try to be done early enough to take a nap before his class tonight. I have to go to DES today to figure out all the insurance stuff and take Jaidyn to the Dr. And I have class today and a test I haven't studied for! What a great way to start the week!

Saturday is a Special Day!

We got some yard work done this weekend! Yeah! Our yard is still covered in weeds, but we are working on it. There's too must to do it all in one day. But, Spencer finally hacked our Monster Bush down to a tiny little thing Thursday and our Orange Tree in the back yard actually looks like a tree again! I wish I would have thought to take before pics! But, here's what the tree looks like now!
We also picked ALL of the oranges off the tree! 5 Nieghbor kids came over and picked with us. They took home 5 super full grocery bags and we still have all of this...

If you guys want some, just let me know! We can't eat all these!!!

Next week we're hitting the grapefruit tree and more weeds! Woohoo!

My great silly baby!

Jaidyn is doing so good! She's starting to put her first 2 word sentences together all by herself! Last night she said, 'Hi Mama' (Mama is Grandma). Today she said, 'Hi Mommy' and 'Hi Daddy'! Just now she said 'Bye Daddy' and Spencer said he heard her say, 'No thank you'! She'll only say it on her own though. If you tell to say 'Hi Mommy', she'll just say Mommy. She also said, 'I love you', instead of her usual, 'love you'! I love seeing and hearing her grow and learn. She is just so amazing!

Now the silly part! The last 2 days, Jaidyn has been walking around kissing just about anything and then saying, 'Love you'! She's done this to mine, Spencer's and my Dad's knees, her book, her toys, the tub, the hall closet door and I'm sure several other things I haven't seen! She's so funny! I crack up everyday over something she does. Jaidyn is just the cutest, most wonderful, silly little girl and I couldn't ask for anything better than her! I love her so much!

Walking

Yeah I went walking all by myself today! Hooray for me! =) I still prefer going with other people though. Maybe I can get something done around the house today before class. It's test taking day! I should study too.

Walking was good for me and Jaidyn. She was sooo grumpy when she woke up this morning! She was driving me crazy! Now she's happier! Woohoo! ok....time for dishes....time for dishes.....I can do it.....I can do it......'sigh'....

Laundry

I'm pretty proud of myself today! I did all the laundry yesterday AND I folded it all AND put it away. That is something I, for some reason, am terrible at! I usually end up with baskets of clothes (sometimes folded, mostly not) taking over my house. Then it takes FOREVER before I get them put away! But, I kept up with it and it feels great to not have to search through baskets to find clothes. This is definately something I want to keep up!
